This guide walks you through starting a telehealth session using LIVE. You'll see what your interface looks like and how to quickly invite and connect with patients. You can access this document directly by clicking here.
Use the Device Settings section to select your camera, microphone, and speaker. Watch the green audio bar to confirm your mic is active.
Step 3 - Filter Your View (New!)
Use the Location and Provider dropdown filters in the Patients Waiting section to show only specific locations or providers. These filters apply to all three data views: Patients Waiting, Recent Sessions, and Today's Appointments. Your selections are saved automatically.
Step 4 - Invite a Patient
Click the Menu button (☰) in the top-right corner and choose Invite Patient. Search for an existing patient, or add a new one, then click Send Invite. You can also invite patients from the Today's Appointments section.
Step 5 - Patient Joins
The patient receives a link by text/email, grants camera/mic access, and clicks "I'm Ready". You'll be notified once they're ready. Note: Patients can access sessions from 1 hour before to 1 hour after their appointment time.
Step 6 - Start the Call
Click "Start Call" to begin your session. You'll see yourself on the right (preview panel), and the call timer will begin.
Step 7 - Use Chat & Share Files
Use the chat feature to message and share attachments (PDFs or images) with the patient. Click the paperclip icon to upload files.
Step 8 - Ending or Reinviting
To end the session, click "End Session". If needed, you can use the Invite Back button under Recent Sessions to reconnect quickly.
